Autonomous cars are finally here*

Self driving cars that need no direct** driver supervision have finally arrived on Britain’s roads, after more than a decade of testing, development and exciting new developments.

The country’s first completely*** production-ready**** autonomous car was unveiled at a ceremony at the Progressive Research Applied Transport hub at Wideopen Technical Facility college, with audience members including Government ministers, industry heads and the Earl of Ditchwater.

The result of a collaboration between the UK’s leading self-driving firms including BlueSkyCloud, SomeHope and OptimalProjection, the demonstration vehicle, codenamed Rabbit Light One, can navigate every public road in the UK with no driver*****, while also being fully insurable****** by members of the public thanks to a policy from specialist underwriters Private Bond Cover.

The Rabbit Light One was showcased over a demonstration journey on public roads, chauffeuring the Minister for Enlightenment and Progress who sat in the rear of the car for most of the 2.5-mile trip.

“The UK has some of the brightest engineers and software developers in the world”, the minister told gathered reporters, “and it’s wonderful to see them devote their talents to a project that is now clearly ready for public use, and is expected to bring billions of pounds of investment for the economy*******, as well as see the creation of thousands of new jobs********.”

Series production of the Rabbit Light One is scheduled for early 2029, with first deliveries due to follow in the early 2030s. Initial customers are expected to be selected via a vetting process that will ensure they are suitably accustomed to live Beta-testing. All users of the RLO will have to provide breath samples to the vehicle’s on-board alcohol interlock devices, while also signing waivers promising they will promote the car’s abilities*********.

Potential investors********** are invited to register for the conglomerate’s Series P funding round, which follows 15 highly successful*********** previous rounds.
